Campbell Property Management Clients Win Awards at The 2014 Florida Communities of Excellence Awards
Deerfield Beach, FL – Campbell Property Management congratulates its clients and employees for winning awards and being finalists at The 2014 Florida Communities of Excellence Awards.
Three of Campbell Property Management’s clients were recognized at The 2014 Florida Communities of Excellence Awards. The awards recognize communities and managers from across the state of Florida for outstanding achievements. The awards are independently judged by a panel of industry and government professionals who help recognize communities for their best practices and accomplishments in categories including Water Conservation, Energy Efficiency, Florida-Friendly Landscaping, Civic Volunteerism & Advocacy, Communications & Community, Family Friendly Programs and Initiatives, Disaster Preparedness, Safety & Security, Financial Innovation, “The Comeback Kid” and The Trendsetter. This is the awards sixth year.
This year Campbell had three finalists. Campbell is proud of the finalists and the community that won:
Pines of Delray West won the 2014 Award for Financial Innovation. The community worked hard to cut costs everywhere they could. They have rebid contracts and evaluated when to use a contractor or in-house services; pool service was switched to a vendor, while janitorial services were brought in-house. Switching to a new insurance company provided the biggest savings, but other savings were achieved by utilizing e-mail more, reducing gas allowances for employee transportation and consolidating landscaping services. The association also established a Financial Committee with non-board residents to increase transparency. Pines of Delray West has been a Campbell client since 2007 and is managed by Teri Fifth.
Camino Real Village in Boca Raton was a finalist in the Financial Innovation Category. Camino Real Village developed policies and procedures which have eased financial burdens that have challenged the community in tough economic times. The community is managed by David Diaz and has been a Campbell client since 1998.
Turtle Cay HOA in Riveria Beach was a finalist in “The Comeback Kid” category. This category recognizes communities that have successfully developed and implemented turnaround programs by revitalizing distressed properties. The community has been with Campbell for 7 years and is managed by Richard Kuperman.
Richard Kuperman was also honored at The Manager’s of Excellence luncheon, where he was presented with a 2014 Manager’s of Excellence Award.
Campbell is extremely proud of their clients’ and managers’ hard work and dedication. Campbell has had four clients win since 2009.
