New Registration Requirements for Community Associations in Miami-Dade

Starting in 2023, all condominium associations, cooperative associations, and homeowners’ associations (HOAs) in Miami-Dade County are required to register yearly with the county’s Consumer Protection Division.

The new ordinance applies to community associations located in both incorporated and unincorporated Miami-Dade County.

Information about the association, including the legal description of the residence governed by the association, emergency contact information and a list of the association’s officers and board members needs to be entered into the public county database by February 1, 2023.

For more information on the ordinance, check out this article from the Brickell Homeowners Association.
